AUSTRALIANS! What should I get from your country?
I am getting a package from australia, and the maker wants to know what I would like. I asked for a fridge magnet (I collect them) and a newspaper, but is there anything I should get that shows the culture of Australia?
I am open to any suggestions, but if you have a food recommendation, that would be helpful. I am torn between Vegemite and Tim Tams. Vegemite is the classic Australian spread, but then again, I am fearful to actually try it…
You have to get both. Just get the smallest jar of vegemite you can, because you probably won’t like it… but u gotta try it! And Tim Tams… oh my god. I can’t beleive you guys don’t have them! Yep, get them for sure. And when you eat them, you should use this technique: Make sure you have a hot chocolate/cup of tea or coffee ready. Take a Tim Tam and bite each end off it. Now suck your hot drink through the Tim Tam, but not for too long or it will break off into your drink. Now stuff it into your mouth all at once. Heaven.
I used to work for an american man and he always went on and on about how much better our cadbury chocolate is over here. He said it is heaps richer and creamier… so if you love chocolate, get some cadbury sent over too.
